The story of Ishizuka Glass dates back to 1819 when Iwasaburo Ishizuka began pursuing his hand blown glass making when the glass industry developed immensely during the Edo era (1615-1867). 
Today, Ishizuka Glass represents the high standard of Japanese craftsmanship where different talented glass artists design and make their own line of glassware.
